I have a credit card that last year threatened to start charging a $49 annual fee. I called, complained, they waived. Guess what? It's time again!

"In order to provide you the great rewards and benefits on your account, a fee will be billed in the amount of $49.00 each year on your August statement. We show that the Annual Fee was only waived for the first year. Your next Annual Fee in the amount of $49.00 will be billed on July 31, 2012."

My reply:

"So basically after waiving the fee last year because I called and threatened to cancel the card, we're going to get to do it again this year? Awesome!!"
