my mom: a pear-shaped bird house. his mom: a wine canteen. my sister, SIL and in addition for the moms: probably some cute little flowers in pots

because it's cheap to do and fun to put together.
though we're also taking MIL out for lunch and wine tasting on saturday and doing a brunch for my mom on sunday.
