Osama getting dead was a pretty damn good moment. This Gay Marriage thing is just voicing something that he probably believed when he ran for Senate.

If repeal of DOMA had crossed his desk on day 1, he'd have signed it. That means his opinion hasn't changed, just his willingness to voice it, and that was politically calculated.
