one of my weddings from hell had a drunk grandpa inciting a riot....

drunk grandpa started making ugly insinuations about all them japs coming to the US and buying up everything in sight (this back in the 80's when they were)
her folks it turns out had been in the US since before the first WW and spent the 2nd in internment camps, and her dad was a decorated vet.
his grandpa (who raised the groom) was a jewish refugee from germany, one of the few who's family had enough money to get him out and into the US
anyway waiters had to separate a couple.
gramps was a cheap bastard too, turns out the gal that was shadowing me and taking every shot over my shoulder was PAID by him cause I was ala carte and she was literally stealing each pose, aholes didn't buy a thing over minimum...
