Then you vote for the other guy that's not running things.

I hear all the time here that the President has little to no control over the economy. The degree that he has an effect can be debated but public perception is that it is his fault if it's bad. It's his doing if it's good.

The only other wild card would be some big terrorism event near the election or North Korea, Iran going off the deep end creating another war.
