not the leadership, but she would get nasty stares and whispers/pointing from congregation members. when i mentioned it in passing, the pastor and others were horrified and appologetic. we came up with a "weird people are actually nice" program where she would go to people's houses and have dinner with them. Allie didn't think that would be fun for her, so it never went anywhere.. but I still think it could at the very least be entertaining, and maybe change some minds about heavily modified people.
