when i was 17 i had some very very very real and vivid dreams about dying at 18.

in one, you know how they say if you dream you are falling you always wake up before you hit? I hit. and in the dream i *felt* my spirit leave my body and float up. it was a crazy crazy sensation.
i was utterly and totally convinced i would never live to be 19.
i'm still here.
