it might be different if david hadn't addressed it several years ago. I'm not sure why, since he did, they didn't just add a little disclaimer re:

his being a storyteller.
I gotta say that, having read everything by him and being a fan, there should have been one in his earlier books. that's all it takes for me to be ok with it, just a little something saying "realish."
