Have you tried Zyrtec, Allegra or Claritin? All 3 are non-drowsy. I know that Benedryl works better than anything else, but it'll knock your ass out.

It's actually the drug used in over the counter "night time sleeping aids".

The three on the subject line are all available in generics that are about 1/3 the price of the name brand. If you're really congested, all are available in a "-D" version that has sudafed in them. Just go to the pharmacist and ask for them.

Crash and I both have horrible allergies and the non-drowsies work for us.*

*I have a problem with Allegra and its generic, it makes my heart race. I can take a dose and 30 minutes later my pulse is running about 120. It's a scary feeling. My doctor told me, "nevermore".
