In all seriousness, the majority can actually make the minority filibuster and that would end the problem.

By allowing them to simply say "we're going to" that gives the power to the minority party. Making them actually filibuster would make them think twice about doing it would lead to a breakage of the logjam.
But then Senators couldn't leave for fundraisers and their time is too valuable to sit there and listen to filibusters so it will continue.
