I should say, though, that ^^ is not of as much concern to me as what can get tracked from the outside of bags..

people who put the bags from a cart (e. coli central, among other beasties) into their cars/on the ground and then onto kitchen counters = ick.
and just touching contaminated bags and unthinkingly touching yourself (no, not that way, although: ick; but rubbing eyes, covering mouth, etc.) - that seems to be the way people have actually gotten sick vs. just my being squicked. ;) -
