To this, I would say we generally have no clue what is well-written vs well-executed b/c we aren't reading the unfilmed scripts.

There is plenty of fantastically written stuff that comes out like shit, and that doesn't get nominated for best screenplay due to other factors, which is even less fair than the best picture discussion.
