Washing machine. The discharge hose came out of the sink it was draining into, and the washer got stuck in rinse mode for some reason.

8 hours later I got back home and went downstairs to put the load in the dryer and found that the water was still running in the washer. Luckily my basement isn't watertight enough to get any depth, so it just clung to the sides of the basement and dripped out the door to the garage once it got there. I was up till past midnight Sunday shop vac'ing the water out. The important stuff was in plastic boxes, just lost some cardboard boxes waiting to go to the trash and the cheap 3' christmas tree box.
