I don't want RIM to go out of business (I have friends who work there), but it seems inevitable. They reached a tipping point a while back.

They have to completely reinvent themselves just to get a saleable product out the door, and their focus on denying the market's attachment to touchscreen devices is not going to help with that.
They should acquire that LEAP company, that would take mobiles in an interesting new dimension.
