I think I'd leave it alone a bit longer and see what happens. I get the same feeling as Will, that she will pull back again.

I know how you're feeling, I have a need to know when something like that happens and it eats away at me until I can get things settled.
I'm sure it'll be hard to keep quiet about it when you're with her but maybe she'll open up at some point about what cause the issue. If not, maybe if you guys get close again over the next year you might be able to ask her about it without losing the relationship.
