episode and was not written by Martin. As far as I am aware, he has no input on the episodes he isn't hired to write and that is by his own choosing. I'll also note that he hasn't voiced any complaints with what has been written, so, yeah, if he isn't upset why should I be? But I am.

There is plenty of actual drama in the books that it was not necessary to fabricate something completely new for the TV show. I don't expect the show to be a verbatim recitation of the book, but it ought to hew as closely as possible to the book with what it does show.
