Actually I'd call both Police AND Animal Control Officer. I hate to say this but the dog should perhaps be put down.

If it had not been you - but a kid walking their dog, this could have had horrible consequences.

Maybe it's that I've been doing insurance too long and know what happens - bit dogs are animals instinctively and when their owners don't respect that and keep them and other's safe - the result can be disasterous. :(

and that's my concern. our dog is okay. he's a sweetie, but tough. that dog could have easily ripped in to a kid or smaller dog. -- nm - colin Jun 3, 19:15 1
