Sea Ranch report

The cabin I stayed in was amazing. It had 3 diamond shaped rooms overlapping at the points that ran down a hill. It had a glass ceiling section that ran the length of the house in the center so you could look up and see the trees and the night sky was very clear because there was no light pollution. Many of the windows were floor to ceiling, so my dog thought it was like a bunch of different nature channels. He'd watch out a window then move to another. There were lots of deer that came up to the house, but they ran away as soon as the dog came outside. Bobby did surprise a huge wild turkey (that scared the crap out of me when it exploded out of a bush and landed on the privacy wall around the hot tub). One faun chased my car for several hundred yards.

No email or cell phone for 4 days. I thought I'd miss it, but I didn't keep thinking about checking my cell at all. Once I got to the cabin, I only saw 3 other people while hiking. Definitely a good vacation.
