Proud parent stuff: Bub had his kindergarten evaluation this morning.

9:30 was the appointment. Got there 5 minutes early and there was a little boy named Carter there with his mom. We signed in and did not even get sat down and one of the teachers came out and called out, "Carter... and Logan" and took them away.

After about 15 minutes, Carter returned. I saw that the teacher had a sheet of paper. I ease-dropped (sue me) and heard that Carter did great and here (the paper) are the things kids need to know by August. 5 minutes passed, still no Bub. Amy makes nervous joke. I am unable to laugh.

Finally, Bub returns (with the teacher that I liked from the open house, even). Gives us both a big hug and I ask him how he did? He gave me a high five. The teacher says, "I love his voice. He came in, sat right down and was ready to go. I told him he will need to right his name, and he said Oh! I know this one!" It was then I noticed she had no paper for us so I said, "So, what do we need to do?"

Absolutely nothing! First test of his life and my boy nailed that shit.
