Okay, so I know I have a short fuse and kind of a temper, but please tell me that what this Best Buy cashier said to me is ridiculous...

I needed a gift card.

I didnt see them anywhere so I figured that they would be at register.

Get to register and they arent there. Cashier says they are over there and points. They are smack in between two other displays and very easy to miss.

*standard rage level slowly starts rising*

I go get my card (10 seconds later) and return and she didnt hold the line and wait for me to come back and I have 3 people now in line front of me.

*rage increases*

Get back to counter. "Oh I see you found them!" "Umm yea, I thought you would have held the lind for me, I was only gone 10 seconds." "Oh I didnt know when you were going to come back." "...."

*rage building to tipping point levels*

So then I say, "You know, you really should have some gift cards at the counter and you really should have the Gift Card display much more visable then it currently is."

So I get, "Well there is a lot of things (and she does a general wave of her hand) in the store that you really cant see that well."

So I laugh and say, "Okay nevermind, if that is your answer, I clearly shouldnt be talking to you about this and I am just wasting oxygen."

she says, "Well I dont understand what you dont understand, I just work the register. I dont set up displays!"

*rage almost at extreme levels*

but

I dial it all back, and just say, "You know you're right. Nevermind everything I just said. Just make sure you give me a gift receipt."

I paid and walked out.

I was proud of myself. I was all set to go really off.

but really? WTF?????
