I did try zyrtec first last night, then added the benadryl and zantac this morning. I'll check-out tagamet next, thanks!

when this level of hives happened in the past, I tried all kinds of otc things, including benadryl spray. unfortunately, nothing worked for long, if at all, and some even made things worse. I ended up with a prescription cream that helped, along with the above version of a cocktail. I'll likely use some of that tonight, at least on my most itchy parts. (my chest is super sensitive, in particular; and ohmigosh I want to scratch it right now. nonono.)

You may have to go on a prednisone or medrol dose-pack. That's my biggest nightmare, I get totally homocidal when I have to take that stuff. - Trish Jun 4, 19:12 1
