LYC: The baby hawks that were born on a ledge at NYU have flown away and are gone. :-(

They've been spotted hunting around downtown Manhattan. Hopefully they live long lives and find their own mates to continue growing the hawk population around the city. I felt kind of sad seeing the mom sitting on the ledge by herself.

I love spotting them when I'm out, though I do need a better camera so I can start taking some pictures.
