Nice that he found work in sports but I'm sure it hurt a bit to lose out on that dream.
You always want that local guy to make it, especially when it's someone you know.
Arm injuries kept me from having a chance at a baseball career. I probably wouldn't have gone far but I could have played minor league ball for a few years.
