so the engineers seeded human life on earth and then invited us to find them with paintings? how did these paintings of a tall guy pointing at circles get done? did the engineers keep coming back to earth to tell someone from each of these "civilizations separated by centuries" to paint them? if they kept appearing on earth to be drawn and they for whatever reason (that we will have to pay money for a sequel to get an answer) wanted to destroy us, wouldn't it have been much easier while they were visiting us and posing for cave portraits?
speaking of the cave drawings, why is it important that the sixth was found? they obviously knew about the previous five that were found with the tall guy pointing at the circles, so why were they still looking for more? "dammit people, I know you have found the same drawing five times from different sources, but you know as well as I do that unless you have a sixth that it means nothing!"
so basically the engineers came back and posed for portraits with a lame hidden meaning that if humans figured it out and came to find them, they would be destroyed? okie-doke
I feel so cheated by this movie. awesome eye candy visuals that would have made it acceptable. it just looks like they then had a lame script with so many plot holes that they said "lets put a couple easter eggs from a great movie in it so we can scam people into paying for this"
