It was. I had a UNLV employee that worked in Financial Aid lined up for the master bedroom

and he was going to look after the house and recommend deserving tenants to me.
Then the paperwork took way longer because the county had so many layoffs and was understaffed. I actually signed for the house like 3 weeks after I was originally supposed to. Of course, he had given his notice and then didn't have a place to move to, so he went somewhere else, and I had to come up with a plan B. Luckily I had met a really friendly fighter after watching a WEC card a month before, and he became tenant #1, and then his friends and coach moved in...
