Was there more than one thing going on in terms of the biological agent

1) Opening scene space jockey injests something that disintegrates him
2) Running holo jocky disintegrates after being discovered
3) Mr. Archaeological is infected by the bot in his drink and dies
4) Mrs. Archaeological is impregnated from Mr. Archaeological which turns out to be a "facehugger variant"
5) Mr. Biology gets jacked up by the snake

So are 1-3 the same as 4-5?
