so traditional soaps are pretty much dead shows walking. can they be remade and saved? i could see either going the telenovela route

and have self-contained stories that last a few months and then are over
or i could see them going a fake reality show route and doing basically the same kind of stories and situations they have now but in a Big Brother-esque format where it looks like reality
