hotkiss, think about how things were at first in NYC, even.

hong kong would be an expansion of that, so i wouldn't rule it out for that reason.

as far as travel after you have a job - i wish i had done more before i worked. if it's a traditional job/company, you'll have to work for a long time before you can take more than 1-2 weeks off at a time, as mick said; and, with travel time and getting over jetlag, that may not be enough to really experience most faraway places.

too many people end-up then saying, "i'll travel when i'm older and retired."

i almost always vote for living as much as you can when you can do it, as long as it's responsibly done. balance, dontcha know. (and, really, what i've been through the past almost 2 years now only confirms the vote for living when you can - you truly never know what might be thrown in your path otherwise. ;) -)
