In response to "Has anyone studied abroad? Is it really as life changing as they say it is? Being a senior doesn't make it easy to go to India." by Hotkiss

I have two regrets in my life -- and one of them was not studying in St. Petersburg, Russia, when I had the chance.

Personally, I think it's damn well worth it. You may think you'll have lots of time to travel when you grow up and have a job, but at that point, you're going to have a lot more responsibilities. You might have more time on occasion, or enough money on occasion, but it's still sometimes difficult to align things so you have both the time and the money to travel.

Besides, there's an *immense* difference between a vacation (even an extended vacation) and actually living somewhere for several months.
