involve a bit of training. Since then, I found out I have a job interview on Monday.
Obviously I know that an interview does not guarantee a job, but at this point, it *is* possible that I could get the job.
Seeing as how my supervisor here wants me to start training within the next few weeks (I know there is a bill-paying class mid-February that I'd probably be part of), should I give her the heads-up that it is *possible* that I could have another job soon?
I feel that it's a little irresponsible to tell her I'm okay with moving to another position, and then if I was to get the new job, tell her, "Oh yeah, I'm outta here in 2 weeks. Sorry." if I know it's a possibility.

Don't tell them anything. We all hope you get the other job, but if something happens and you don't, you screwed yourself in your current spot. -- nm

Not at all. Do not say a word. If you end up having to leave, they'll be able to fill the position no problem. -- nm

don't tell her. you might be discriminated against if you do, and you have no fallback position yet. -- nm

I'd say nothing. better job is a better job, and I'd never begrudge anyone leaving for it, almost regardless of the situation. -- nm
