"I'm great with that, but I do want you to be aware that I am still actively looking for a permanent job. So far, no luck, but just know I am looking." She said, "Yeah, we figure we will wind up losing a lot of you one of these days. It's too bad there aren't any permanent positions here for you guys."

We have a lot of temps here who are content being temps - they don't need the benefits or the higher pay or whatever, and they've been here for a year or more with no intention of leaving. I just wanted her to be aware that I am not one of those people. :)

So, she does have *some* idea...
