I wouldn't mind staying at this job at all.
IIRC, out of an office of 30 people, 20 are (long-term) temps. They refuse to hire anyone here permanently (without the hiring freeze) until they can figure out the most efficient way to get things done here, and as a result, if everyone here is needed. This is a relatively new department, only been around for a year and a half or so.
