I think it was more the "wife who pushed him to test drive Nissans" deal. :)

He originally wanted a Hyundai somethingorother.
I love Nissans - would drive them for the rest of my life if I was able to. (With used cars, sometimes it was a case of "I'll take it because it's a great deal", but if I had the choice, I always went with a Nissan.)
As it turns out, I'm going to be driving a Honda (my dad was as loyal to Honda as I am to Nissan), but if we had bought my car from a dealership, it would have also been a Nissan.
