them. I can tell you, if you love being "the guy", you might *hate* IT life at a larger company. My friend is basically in a place where no one cares about doing much of anything. They focus on their tiny area, letting the other IT teams take care of anything else. It drives him batty to see things poorly implemented because he was so used to having the big picture and being able to really do a top notch deployment of anything he came across. I think I'd feel the same way. I love the wide-range of stuff I get to deal with as one of only a few people for the entire IT staff. Sometimes that narrow focus can be bad even with the possibility of better budgets or larger deployments.
