Sunday mornings between 5 & 6 for a while now - but I really underestimated their persistence for this morning to roust me on Satirday morning - they completely tag- teamed me!
First Buddy sort of whining while doing the excited dog wrigglw Nd tag wail at 5:15 - then when that didn't produce the desired effect, I heard Mia coming up the stairs and next thing she's at the other side of the bed (which I had rolled over to face to escape Buddy) and she does a little growl until my eyes open and then gives a happy loud bark!
Realizing the jig was up, I put on my brothers slippers a d tool them outside (Buddy on leash because I'm not trusting the shock collar as it sometimes fails and I do not wish to chase him this time around) - so I curl up on the couch and they lay in their dog beds content until I on e again waken to their jnsistent whines - noses - and tail waggings because it is now 7:40 am and their first feeding of the day happens at 8.
I swear they have alarm clocks not stomachs! Heh - was late coming back from setting up festival this morning & instead of an 11am feeding it was closer to noon. Heh - they wolfed it down too!
Will be here until about 2 when they have their last meal & then have to head in for Festival - leaving them alone until I can return back later - about 8 or so. (sigh) wish I could just hang here all day/night - it's so quiet and peaceful - just a perfect day!
