fwiw, my comments about them were not related to in-court activities.

I purposely only paid attention to the most general stories about the trial; and, from them, I'm not sure there's actual incompetence there. Since at leat some people who followed more closely thought there was a possibility of acquittal on at least most charges (although Amendola reportedly saying he thought there would be some convictions is a thing), I gathered they likely were decent enough.

my comment re: Amendola never having clients again was more related to what he said and allowed, and how he represented, before and after the trial. that's where my questions and criticism were most placed. cringeworthy stuff, and not what anyone should be looking for - compared to Mark Geragos and other high-profile/high-success lawyers, well, there is no good comparison.
