There are a few I consider borderline, but I need some out-of-state input.
Abilene
Alamo
Amarillo
Austin
Beaumont
Brownsville
Corpus Christi
Dallas
El Paso
Fort Worth
Galveston
Houston
Laredo
Lubbock
Mesquite
Midland
Odessa
San Antonio
Sugar Land
Waco
Wichita Falls

I lived in Texas so I'm not a fair sample, but all of those are very easy-to-recognize as Texas cities for me.

These are all obvious to me, but then I'm Texan. I don't know what an out-of-stater would think. -- nm
