lowes/loser...tarvwal are equally evil so sears (only midevil) and you left off costplus/world market...but to save money...

Habitate for humanity thirft stores
Builders emporium (2nds, etc but its a good place to find handymen who are reasonable). Ie: we looked at some granite, got a card for a local guy who came/measured told us how much to buy, he picked it up and cut, his guy installed and paid that one extra to also install the sink...our granite counters wre half the cost of corian from lowes
