That's how I feel about The Newsroom. It lacks the flow of The West Wing and Studio 60 pilots. Rollo touched upon the aspect of the story that makes it potentially phenomenal as it develops but I wasn't blown away by the first episode. Jeff Daniels played it a little too angry for my taste. Emily Mortimer is wonderful and the guy they're positioning as their Jim from The Office is engaging as well.
