It's also a little abrasive to many people to live under the strictures of somebody else's belief system

that, according to your belief system, has about as much validity in law as Aesop.
And I've heard the 'Well, anarchists don't believe in laws, so we shouldn't have any of them?' and I think we all know it's fatuous.
