Make sure they felt between the two layers.

Personally, I'd tell them to strip the wrong layer and start from scratch. You shouldn't have to bear any of the burden of their mistake.

They stripped it to the base this time. Normally, when you have shingles replaced they just layer on top of the old ones the first time. - spamlet Jun 27, 12:55
