Our HR VP just came back from a seminar about DOL cracking down on unpaid internships, and cited the Black Swan movie case.

Where interns on the Black Swan set fetched coffee and assembled press packets then sued because their job functions exceeded the legal definition of an unpaid internship.


I don't think "be hot" is as much a job role here as it is an eligibility requirement, so we're good.
