ok, so this fall show NBC (i think) is advertising where "power is everything" and all power goes out ... a thought ...

so, the premise as I understand it is that *something* happens to knock out the world's power grid and humanity has to deal with it ... i'm wondering how they are going to approach it ... like, is it a neutron bomb or something that ko's the power grid?

otherwise, i have to think that *somebody's* going to have a gas powered generator, and *somebody* is going to know how to distill either some gas or some pure alcohol that will burn in the generator and provide at least limited electrical power ...

ST's thoughts on this?
