Wimbledon spoiler - what the H happened in the Sharapova match?

The other girl was really pushing Sharapova for the first two sets.
I watched the 2nd set tiebreaker that Maria lost...she was completely losing control of her serve...I was getting ready to write her off in the match when the tiebreaker was over.
Then the stream showed a bit of Serena's match.
I glanced back up and the stream was back on the Sharapova match as it was *finished* - Sharapova won the 3rd with a bagel.
How did her opponent not even win a game in the third? Can't believe that it was over that quickly - I don't think the third set took 20 minutes
