Sure, but that's exactly why healthcare is so difficult. The market incentives don't really work.

People want to go to the best doctors, get the best treatments, have comprehensive tests. And doctors and hospitals want to get paid and use their expensive machines and treatments. It is simply an area where the free market doesn't really work. Which is why most countries have opted to socialize it.
