Tomorrow, my abusive boyfriend weyerbacher double simcoe will be tapped. Would that you could be there for that.
A million or so years ago (February), one of my bartenders bought me a second double simcoe because he thought I'd love another beer. I would, really, always love another beer. But I can't handle two double simcoes. You have to finish the gifted beer because decorum dictates it but I walked home in fear of blackout.
It's stronger than its abv promises. It's like crack in a glass, but more delicious (not that I've ever smoked crack, but I've had double simcoe, man!). It's my favorite and least favorite beer ever in the same glass.
Just come to beerfest. Show up tomorrow. (I'm not even doing the fest. I'm just going for the double simcoe.)
