its not a problem that can be fixed with surgeries, or anything else

or at least that is what i was told 20 years ago when it start to keep me from playing sports. its just a lifelong ailment.
has to do with an underdeveloped muscle in the leg which sometimes cant function correctly, causing my knee to not function correctly, locking up the joint and causing sever pain until it pops back into place (which happens when i straigten my leg back out).
nothing i can do, but once it goes bad, it seems to have a tendency to want to slip again for a while, so i have to be extra careful (and yes, i can feel it when it starts to go bad, so i can try to correct my stance).
