What about art in public spaces? Parks, libraries, transit stations, etc.?

The list goes on and on. I rather appreciate when I see new public spaces and resources that have public art in the mix. I think public art gives communities a sense of identity. I would rather these public spaces not look drab, like they are from Soviet Russia.
