Speaking of which, how many STers are currently unemployed? It seems like a lot of us went through this over the past couple of years.

Between October 2009 and December 2011, I worked about 6 months on short-term contracts. I finally got a regular job* in December and have managed to hold on to it so far.
* After 3 layoffs in 17 years, I don't call any job permanent.

I only work part-time now. I was working two jobs but I was laid off earlier in the year from my full time job.
