For the dog I'm sitting, I turn on the cold water in the bathtub and he jumps in and just lays in it and chomps at the water from the faucet.

We had to abandon a ball yesterday because he just watched me throw it and wouldn't budge in that direction to get it because it was in the opposite direction of home. "You can pull on that leash as hard as you want, man, forget it, I'm done."
